Samsung Galaxy Fold is ready for launch based on speculations. This comes as Samsung sent invites for its next unpack event, which will take place on the 7th of August, at 4 PM in New York, though the timing is based on the rumor that has been in the air for weeks now.

There are lots of expectations and that includes an updated camera, also in line with the recent leak, and will feature a nearly all-screen front for its new handset (Samsung Galaxy fold), also known as a phablet, and has a hole in front facing the camera up top. The new phone is said to have three (3) vertical cameras with depth sensing and optimized with a 5G option. Samsung has also in the past years pointed at headphone jack to stand out with a unique feature from the rest in the industry.

It is also understood, that Samsung will not only showcase the phone as our topic of discussion but will also include its prominent S Pen and the debut of the Galaxy Note 10. A similar thing also occurred at last year’s event with additional devices, ranging from Galaxy Home smart speaker (yet unreleased), hopefully, there will be a date for that, but for now, is the longdelayed Galaxy fold.

According to reports from a company’s representative to the Korea Herald, from all indications, the phone launch won’t be anytime soon. This is because its release date has not been received officially since it was not launched in June, reports suggested July which the company has declined from.

Reports regarding the Samsung Galaxy fold, from a Samsung official, “If we are running such a media event this month, we should be doing something by now. Nothing has progressed since the April delay” said the official.

In an interview, Samsung co-CEO DJ Koh admitted he did push for the Galaxy release “before it was ready”, and he also added it was a big reason for delaying the phone launch. “It was embarrassing” he added.

In the process of his interview, Mr. Koh also added, “I do admit I missed something on the foldable phone, but we are in the process of recovery”. And finally, he said, “Give us a bit more time”. From here at clinchbase.com, we urge Samsung customers to be patient.
